Property tax fraud, nationwide? NO WAY… That is what they ALL said in New Hampshire, the selectmen, the governor, the Attorney General.
Luckily Hampton taxpayers already have a complaint filed for New Hampshire and it’s currently on appeal to the States highest court. WHY? There was no jurisdiction or no standing according to the town lawyer and the Rockingham Superior Court judge.
As of today, no word back regarding taxpayers’ appeal to the NH Supreme Court… However, the Supreme Court does not get back from its summer recess until September 22, how CONVENIENT!

Hampton’s latest move in the property-tax battle is breathtaking: instead of answering the legal question, the Town wants the New Hampshire Supreme Court to strike the argument raising it.
SOME of the Hampton select board members, one a CD 1 candidate, are chanting about how they care about the local property tax burden. YEA RIGHT!
The entire board has ignored taxpayer findings of fraudulent and unequal valuations since November of 2024!
